PROGRAMS
Sappington Child Care Center and Summer Day Camp is licensed by the State of Missouri. We are inspected by the State, St. Louis County Health Dept. and the State Fire Marshal. Our summer camp is one of a very few in the entire state that is licensed.
Preschool
- Chipmunks – Two's and Three's
- Rabbits – Three's and Four's
- Beavers – Pre-K Four's and Five's
Children are moved to the next classroom according to the school year, not their age. Children do not have to be potty trained. Our teachers will work with parents on those skills in the Chipmunk room, along with learning colors, shapes, letters and numbers. The Rabbit room expands on these skills and concentrates on large and small motor skills, children’s ability to listen, follow directions and socialize with their peers. The Beaver room is the Pre-K room. This classroom prepares your child with the skills they will need to succeed in kindergarten and beyond.
Activities are based on weekly themes and follow our philosophy of learning through play.
Before And After School
Our before and after school age program accepts children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Sappington Child Care Center and Summer Day Camp is in the Lindbergh School District and buses from Long and Sappington Elementary Schools pick up and drop off children at our Center. Children receive a snack when they arrive from school. Supervised time is allowed for those children who need to do homework or reading. We are also able to accommodate children on early release days, school holidays, snow days, Christmas and spring breaks.
We accept kids from any school district for holidays, days off and summer camp.
